My name is Jim Peters, I’m 20 years old and born and raised in Veldhoven. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had a huge passion for everything related to home and garden. While others were outside playing football, I was busy rearranging the garden, painting flower pots, or helping my parents with little projects to make our home look just a bit nicer.

I’ve always enjoyed making a space feel cozier, more beautiful, and full of character. Whether it was a stylish lantern in the garden, a well-designed seating area, or a cool home accessory – I loved combining things and coming up with creative solutions. The idea that the right products can completely transform a space has always fascinated me.

That feeling never went away. In fact, it grew into a dream to actually do something with it. I started small, with handmade planters and refurbishing old garden furniture, and slowly it became more than just a hobby. That entrepreneurial spark started to grow. I wanted to help people turn their house and garden into a place they truly feel at home – and something they can be proud of.

Starting something of your own is never easy – but for me, it felt like the natural next step. After years of playing around with ideas, creating things, and dreaming about turning my passion for home and garden into something real, I decided to take the leap of faith.

I didn’t have all the answers, and I definitely didn’t have everything figured out. But what I did have was a clear vision: helping people create spaces they love to live in. I knew what it felt like to see a dull corner turn into something inspiring, and I wanted others to feel that too.

Taking this leap meant turning a lifelong passion into a business. It meant learning, failing, trying again – and most of all, believing in my own ideas. I started small, stayed hands-on, and stayed true to what got me here in the first place: the joy of creating something beautiful, practical, and personal.

This is just the beginning. And I’m proud I took that first step.

When you decide to follow your passion and turn it into something real, there comes a point where you stop just trying – and start owning it. For me, that meant fully standing behind my ideas, my style, and my way of doing things.

I stopped waiting for the perfect moment or the right setup. I realized that if I wanted to build something meaningful, I had to show up every day, put in the work, and trust my instincts. I started owning the fact that I see things differently – that I genuinely care about the little details, about quality, about how a home or garden feels when you step into it.

Owning it also means taking responsibility – for the wins and the mistakes. It’s about growing, adapting, and staying grounded in why I started in the first place. I’m not just selling products. I’m sharing a piece of my vision, my journey, and what I believe makes a house feel like home.
